Below, you'll find information about our upcoming Info Night & Open House, tryout dates, registration, and required forms to help your family prepare for the season.

Info Night & Open House

Prospective athletes and families are invited to join us for our VA Ignite Info Night & Open House. This event is designed to give families an opportunity to learn more about VA Ignite Volleyball, meet our coaching staff, ask questions, and get a better feel for the environment and culture we are building for our inaugural season.

The VA Ignite Info Night & Open House is not an official tryout.
Attendance is not required to try out for VA Ignite, and participation in the Open House does not guarantee or determine team placement.
Athletes currently participating in middle school or high school volleyball should continue to follow all applicable school, team, district, and athletic association requirements.

for ATHLETES
Athletes will have an opportunity to get on the court, get some touches, and experience our coaching environment firsthand.
This is a chance to see how our coaches teach, communicate, and run the gym while enjoying some volleyball before official tryouts.

We are fielding teams for athletes ages 13 through 16. Teams will be formed based on skill level and competitive balance.

BUILDING VA IGNITE TOGETHER
The 2026–2027 season marks the beginning of VA Ignite Volleyball, and our inaugural athletes and families will play an important role in shaping the culture, traditions, and community of our program. We are looking for athletes who are ready to learn, compete, support their teammates, and grow—both as volleyball players and as individuals.
We also value families who want to be part of a positive, supportive club environment and help us build something special from the very beginning.
This isn't just our first season. It's the beginning of VA Ignite.

USAV/CHRVA Membership Information

All athletes are required to have a current USAV/CHRVA membership in order to participate in open gyms and tryouts. This membership is purchased through SportsEngine.

To register your athlete, a parent or legal guardian must create and manage the SportsEngine account. As a reminder, parents do not need to purchase a membership, only the athlete.

Important: Use Your Athlete's Existing USAV/SportsEngine Account do not make duplicates

When purchasing or renewing your athlete’s USAV membership, please use the existing SportsEngine account and athlete profile associated with their current USAV membership whenever possible.

Please do not create a new athlete profile or SportsEngine account using a different email address if your athlete already has an existing profile. Creating multiple profiles for the same athlete can result in duplicate records and may cause issues when VA Ignite attempts to verify memberships and place athletes on official team rosters.

If you are unsure which account or email address is associated with your athlete’s existing USAV membership, please verify the account information before creating a new profile.
