KC

KC brings a lifetime of volleyball experience and over 15 years of coaching experience to VA Ignite.  During her high school, college, and professional careers, she has been trained by some of the top coaches in the sport including former Team USA's Coach Terry Liskevych and 2x NCAA MVP Matt Sonnichsen (UCLA), David Rubio and Charita Stubbs (University of Arizona) and others.

A former NCAA Division I athlete, KC was a four-year starting middle blocker at Louisiana Tech University, where she earned conference, academic, and All-Louisiana honors while establishing herself among the program’s leaders in multiple statistical categories.

After college, KC took her playing career overseas. She signed a professional contract in Italy, helping her team to a conference championship, before continuing her career in England as a player/coach at Durham University and competing semi-professionally for Northumbria, where she was part of two national championship teams.

KC’s coaching career has taken her from the high school and club levels to NCAA Division I volleyball. She coached at Oregon State University during the program’s run to the NCAA Sweet 16 and later served as an assistant coach at Seattle University. At the collegiate level, her responsibilities extended beyond player development to include recruiting and evaluating prospective student-athletes.

After relocating to Virginia, KC brought that experience and passion for developing athletes to the Stafford community. She now coaches at Hartwood High School, where she continues to invest in the growth of local volleyball players.

VA Ignite is the next chapter of that journey.
